The Benefice of Northallerton, Romanby and Kirby Sigston is committed to promoting a safer church and complies with all Church of England safeguarding policies.

Our parish of Northallerton, Romanby and Kirby Sigston, comprising the churches of All Saints, Northallerton, St James, Romanby and St Lawrence, Kirby Sigston, is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and we have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Maggie Woods. The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer who advises our PSO.

 

If you have immediate and grave concerns about the safety of a child, young person or adult, please contact the police on 999 and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
