The Northallerton area Children's Society support committee contains members from the parishes of Brompton, Northallerton with Romanby, Osmotherley and the Rountons.

Its purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the Children's Society. This is the Anglican charity whose aim is to support vulnerable children in this country. Their work includes helping children who are in trouble with the law, disabled children, young refugees and children at risk on the streets. It also tackles abuse and drug /alcohol issues affecting young people.

The committee organises events including: Christingle Service, Bridge Drive, Coffee Morning, house-to-house collections and personal collecting boxes in individual homes.
