Bell Ringers
Northallerton has a thriving band of bell ringers with a wide range of ages and abilities, catering for all levels from inexperienced to expert. We also ring at St. Thomas’ Brompton by arrangement.
At these times we welcome visitors interested in seeing what goes on up the tower, including anyone who would like to learn. Bell ringing is suitable for most people from the age of 11.

All Saints church has a fine peal of ten bells, one of which is reputed to have come from the nearby Mount Grace Priory, although it has been re-cast at least twice since then. We practise change-ringing, a peculiarly English tradition known to stretch back to around the mid-17th century.
Practice nights – Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00pm (main practice)
Monday evening 7:00 – 8:30pm (on six bells)
Sunday service ringing – 10:00 – 11:00 am and 5:00 – 6:00pm
